[bloggerDev] Re: Future directions for Blogger API development?

Hi Brett!

I know it isn't strictly part of the Blogger API, but I would like the
gadgets.window.adjustHeight() JavaScript function ( see
http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/reference/#gadgets.window.adjustHeight
) to be updated to work consistently with Internet Explorer 8.
Currently, dynamic height adjusting can expand the iframe around the
gadget in all major browsers, but it cannot shrink the iframe only in
Internet Explorer 8 (although, strangely, it can shrink the iframe in
Internet Explorer 7 compatibility mode).

I also second Ultra in hoping you can check on what is holding up
processing of new submissions to the Blogger Gadget directory.

The things I see a few Blogger users wanting right now are the ability
to automate spam message marking, which would call for some kind of
way to send comments to the spam folder using the API, and a way to
share private comment feeds (if they exist) with the authorized
viewers of the blog.

As for the tutorials, the Blogger API's Developer's Guide: JavaScript
page ( see http://code.google.com/apis/blogger/docs/1.0/developers_guide_js.html
) is full of errors [Error: object Event] that have to be suppressed
when viewed in Google Chrome 6.
